Mental health and help with substance abuse problems

Many people are affected by mental health and substance abuse problems. You, a family member, or another person close to you may have problems. The sooner help is sought for problems, the easier it is to manage them.

Help is available in many places. You can contact for example Kotitori, the Social and Health Care Centre, School and Student Health Care, the Child Health Centre, or the Telephone health service. 

Help from the Social Welfare and Health Centres 

If you need help with mental health or substance abuse problems, contact your Social Welfare and Health Centre. Mental health teams at the Social Welfare and Health Centres help you or those close to you.

When your own Social Welfare and Health Centre is closed, call the Pirkanmaa Telephone health service at tel. 03 384 5000, or contact us online. The Pirkanmaa Telephone health service is available every day 7-22.
