Here is what you should do
-
If a person’s life is in danger, call the emergency number 112.
Life-threatening situations include serious accidents, cardiac arrest, severe chest pain, unconsciousness, not breathing, severe shortness of breath and convulsions.
-
If you suspect that your symptoms or injury are such that you need treatment within 1–3 days, call the Health and social services centre in your locality or contact the digital clinic.
The Health and social services centres are open on weekdays from Monday to Thursday 8–16 and Fridays 8–15. In addition, some Health and social centres have the centralized urgent reception, which also accept urgent patients during the evenings and weekends.
The digital clinic is a remote access channel for health services, which can be accessed through the OmaPirha Digital Clinic app or a website. The clinic will be available every day from 8am to 10pm.
-
If the Health and social services centre in your area of residence is closed, call the Pirkanmaa Medical Helpline, tel. 116 117. The number is available 24 hours a day every day of the year.
