Metsähallitus customer service points are versatile visitor destinations. They are great places to stop by for information before heading out or just to take a break. The staff are happy to tell you about the area's nature, cultural heritage, hiking destinations, events, volunteer opportunities, and outdoor activities. You can also purchase maps and other information about the area and its services. At the service points, you can obtain fishing and off-road traffic permits required on state-owned land. Visitor Centres offer free Wi-Fi for customers.
It is also worth exploring the nearby nature trails. Many sites offer places suitable for picnicking and resting. Some of them also have café or restaurant services.
