Kuvaus
The Bachelor of Police Services degree can be completed at the Police University College in Tampere. The scope of the degree is 180 credit points, and the completion time is about three years.
The degree qualifies holders for various police officer positions, such as that of Senior Constable. Completion of the degree qualifies officers to conduct criminal investigations and to work in surveillance and emergency response operations. Bachelor of Police Services studies include basic and vocational studies, a training period facilitating professional competences, a thesis and optional studies.

Applications to police education are filed online at haku.polamk.fi. You can sign in to the service by using your online banking codes, an ID card with an embedded chip, or mobile verification.
The application period ends on the last day of the application period at 4:15 pm. Applicants may change or supplement their applications until the end of the application period.
Invitations to the various phases of the entrance examination and other letters related to the application and selection process are sent to the applicant electronically via the applicant service. Applicants should follow the progress of the application process via the online applicant service.

The applicant must meet the admission criteria (Finnish citizenship, suitable educational background, suitable state of health, honesty and trustworthiness, category B driver's license) by the end of the application period.
Students are selected to the Bachelor of Police Services degree program based on a two-phase entrance examination.
All applicants meeting the admission criteria are invited to the entrance examination.

Poliisiammattikorkeakoulun hakijapalvelu
Nettihaun kautta voi hakea suomen- ja ruotsinkieliseen Poliisi (AMK) -tutkintoon johtavaan koulutukseen. Saman hakujakson aikana voi hakea vain yhteen tutkintokoulutukseen.
Kalenterivuodessa on suomenkieliseen koulutukseen neljä hakujaksoa ja ruotsinkieliseen koulutukseen yksi hakujakso. Hakujaksot voi tarkistaa Poliisiammattikorkeakoulun verkkosivuilta.
Palveluun kirjautumiseen hakija tarvitsee verkkopankkitunnukset, sirullisen henkilökortin tai mobiilivarmenteen. Palvelu on avoinna koko hakujakson ajan ja sulkeutuu jakson viimeisenä päivänä kello 16.15.
Nettihaun kautta hakija voi seurata hakemuksensa etenemistä sekä saapuvia viestejä ja päätöksiä.
